Fuchsia 'Lady Boothby'

Fuchsia 'Lady Boothby' is a deciduous climbing shrub variety that is noted for being extremely vigorous and hardy, offering repeat performances to be admired year after year. The striking crimson and deep purple bicoloured flowers provide a long season of interest through summer and well into autumn. If grown against a wall or offered some support, the red-stained stems of this true climbing fuchsia variety will scramble like a climber.

Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil and in full sun or partial shade. To encourage growth, pinch out the growing tips of young plants after the sixth or seventh pair of leaves. During the growing season water regularly, applying a balanced liquid fertiliser each month. Cut back to the permanent framework in early spring.
